This resource was designed to help students learn ways to make or compose the number ten using ten frames, worksheets, task cards and a memory game in Spanish. The objective is 1.3C Compose 10 with two or more addends with or without concrete objects. 

Included are 4 sets of activities you can use throughout the school year.

★ Making ten levels 1 – 3 (11 pages):

♦ Level 1: Students will complete a ten frame using cubes, then write the corresponding equation. The first addend is given. A blank page is included in case you want them using 2 color cubes.

♦ Level 2: Students will color pictures on the ten-frame using 2 different colors, then write the number sentence.

♦ Level 3: Student will complete the ten-frame using 3 different colors and write a 3-addend number sentence.

★ Making ten task cards (18 pages). A set of 20 task cards (in which the first or second addend are given), an answer sheet and an answer key. Both color and black and white versions are included.

★ Making ten equation worksheets (5 pages). Students will color pictures using two or three crayons and write the corresponding equation.

★ Making ten memory game (11 pages). Students will have to match numbers to make ten and write the equation. Black and white and color versions of the game are included.

These activities can be used in small group, whole group, centers or for review.
