SPANISH Reading Comprehension Los animales comprensión de lectura

Kids love to read about animals! These non-fiction passages in Spanish are a great way to build reading comprehension skills using high interest topics. 

Each passage includes a description of the animal, its habit, diet, adaptations or other special features, and some fun facts. The passage is followed by a page of comprehension questions that require students to refer back to the text to find their answers.

The questions are written-response except for one true/false on each page. Easy to read fonts and uncluttered design let students focus on the topic and information. These passages can be used for independent practice or assessment. They are also the perfect length to use as homework.

Answer keys are included. There are also two pages of vocabulary cards with science words from the text. These allow you to integrate science concepts into your reading instruction.

This resource is already prepared for use through Easel. Text boxes have been inserted for students to type their answers.
