I wanted to create this resource marrying the concepts of Bloom’s & Marzano's Taxonomy and Webb’s Depth of Knowledge in order to differentiate the types of content and language objectives, questions, and activities I was planning based on who my students are and where I wanted to guide them. You’ll notice some key words in bold or italicized based on the level of Webb’s DOK that they fell under. Of course some words like infer are repeated in different levels. This is because it depends how rigorous and deep you take your students with this skill. For instance, inferring in the sense of predicting what a character will do next versus inferring the author’s point of a challenging text. I have also utilized this flipbook to create rubrics.
