We believe it is important for our students to know the history behind celebrations and traditions.  That’s why we created this lesson on Cinco de Mayo and its origins.

This PowerPoint presentation will share with students the history of the Battle of Puebla as well as show how that historical event is celebrated in Mexico, compared with how it is celebrated in the United States.

While presenting students with the lesson, they will have the opportunity to take notes.  We have three differentiated versions to meet the needs of all of your students.
