Reinforce genetic vocabulary using these matching cards. ESL students practice recognizing terms and definitions used in genetics. They can cut and paste definitions to match terms or cut and paste terms to match definitions. This can also be printed on cardstock and used as a manipulative. As students match the terms with the definitions, a chromosome is created. Each pair representing a gene and the individual terms and definitions representing alleles.
