Scientific Method PowerPoint Notes and Student Guided Notes

To understand the scientific process and design, specifically the scientific method, students need to understand the vocabulary used in relationship to this process. Students fluent in English have difficulty with many of the terms used in science. It can be even more difficult for ESL students to learn these science terms. Teaching ESL students can be challenging, especially when different levels of proficiency are in the same class. It has even more challenges when you are teaching science, a language of its own! This lesson will help you help them! The notes are in English and Spanish with relative terms in bold. One version has most of the notes translated, one version has only key terms translated. This allows students to recognize the English words. The notes contain many images to reinforce the concepts. Students fill in the notes using English. Digital versions included!
